Hot Summer Colors–Unique Items Inspire Crafting

Lately, I’ve been encountering inspiring colors in some truly unusual and unique items for summer crafting. Can’t wait to try similar colors and designs. I’d like to locker hook and stitch some belts, rugs and jewelry. I think a necklace and matching bracelet design would be lovely in different jewel tones like in Glass Gem heirloom corn. I so want to grow some in my garden. I’m on a wait list, by the way…so popular Seed Trust sold out. I would also like to be bold and try a rug with bright colors like the geometric tape designs of Jim Lambie. And the gorgeous vibrant colors in the photo of flowers below, taken in my Mom’s garden (had no idea she was growing these!), are so inspiring. Love the beautiful Patina Handpaints fabrics from Robert Kaufman and the newly added Summer Colors from Color Crazy. Indigo blue with summer brights…how can you go wrong?
