I was out shopping on a road trip with my sisters and friends when I discovered a 3-legged little pig hand-crafted out of clay. Adorable. It’s made in the tiny village of Pomaire, Chile, where artisans are known for their amazing pottery. It is believed that little pigs they called “chanchitos” bring good luck. 3-legged little ones are especially fortunate. They are traditionally given to friends as tokens of goodwill and love. I love mixing up cultural traditions and folklore so I decided to locker hook a magic carpet for my new lucky charm.
